The title track of our second full length album. Originally we named this album Seasong, based on our single by the same name. But as time passed we grew tired of the song and decided to leave it on its own and knock it off of the album. Meanwhile, while we were writing these songs I had a glow-in-the-dark purple handkerchief in the studio and it had all these constellations written on it. While producing the beats I had to name each beat to keep track of them and I started naming all of the beats after different constellations. A lot of the time, Elliott, when writing needs a spark to get the lyrics going. Sometimes the name of the beat becomes the theme for the song. That’s what happened here. Space phenomena and constellations turned into the theme of the album. Hints of water, the ocean and the Seasong theme remain throughout the album’s lyrics as well.
